By accessing or purchasing from our websites — www.auntydawnscozycornerbooks.com you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before ordering.

 

1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our websites, products, and services.

By using our site or making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Shipping Policy.

 

2. Digital Product Nature

All products sold through Special Memories by Aunty Dawn are currently digital files only.

You will receive downloadable, viewable, and print-ready files delivered electronically.

There are no physical shipments at this time.

 

Future print options are planned to launch in early 2026.

 

3. Personalization Content

To create your personalized storybook or keepsake, we rely on the information and photos you provide.

By submitting this content, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to share the materials and grant us permission to use them to create your personalized product.

  • The information provided is accurate and appropriate for inclusion in a family-friendly publication.

  • You understand that creative adjustments (such as grammar, flow, or layout) may be made for storytelling clarity.

 

You retain ownership of your original materials, while Special Memories by Aunty Dawn retains ownership of the final story and illustrations we create.

 

4. Use of Digital Files

All personalized books, illustrations, and digital materials provided to you are for personal use only.

You may:

  • Download, store, and view your digital book on personal devices (Apple or Android).

  • Print copies for personal keepsakes or family gifting.

 

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or reproduce our digital files for commercial purposes.

  • Claim authorship or design ownership of the created content.

  • Upload, share, or publish the files publicly without written permission.

 

5. Delivery & Timelines

Once all personalization details are received, your digital file will be delivered within:

  • 7–10 business days for Kids Books 

  • 10–14 business days for Legacy Books

 

All products are delivered electronically to the email address provided at checkout.

 

Please ensure your email address is accurate. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect contact information or missing personalization details.

 

6. Refunds & Revisions

Because our products are fully personalized digital creations, all sales are final.

However, we want you to be delighted with your story.

 

You may request:

  • Minor text or spelling adjustments within 7 days of receiving your digital file.

  • Replacement of your download link if it becomes inaccessible.

 

In cases of clear error on our part (e.g., wrong name or missing page), we will correct and resend your file at no additional charge.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All stories, text templates, illustrations, logos, and designs created by Special Memories by Aunty Dawn remain our intellectual property.

Personalization does not transfer ownership of the creative assets or brand.

 

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use your personalized file for personal enjoyment and printing purposes.

 

8. Copyright & AI Ethics

While AI technology may assist in story or illustration generation, every project is curated, written, and reviewed by a human team.

Final creative work is unique to your order and protected under copyright law.

 

Unauthorized reproduction, scraping, or redistribution of our creative assets is strictly prohibited.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

While we take every care to deliver your story with accuracy and love, Aunty Dawn is not liable for:

  • Loss of data due to user error, email filtering, or download failure.

  • Printing errors caused by third-party print services.

  • Damages resulting from unauthorized use, sharing, or modification of files.

 

Our maximum liability will not exceed the total amount paid for your purchase.

 

10. Updates & Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time.

All changes will take effect immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our website or services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

Any disputes will be handled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
